Minesweeper
Everyone has heard of and probably played the computer game minesweeper. It comes on every computer so it's practically unavoidable. I had played it a couple of times, but I didn't really see the point because I thought it was just a random guessing game and I never won. I certainly was not going to waste my time on a game that I wasn't good at. Then, one life altering day Belle enlightened me with a little piece of information about minesweeper. She tells me that their actually is a strategy. Well, she got it out in between burst of laughter at my naiveness. (that is a real word) Since that day I have been attempting to beat the game, but failing miserably. However, today it finally happened. That's right, after 230 games of minesweeper on the beginner's level I won 1 game. It was a glorious moment in history.

it's nice to see that you're improving your mind at college!!
:)
Strategy, HAH! I'm so sure, see you soon
PR is great at minesweeper. He can win the beginner level in 13 seconds. When we moved to Nigeria he had the high score on our computer I was determined to beat it. (I was 15) One day in my efforts I accidentally erased the high scores. I was so annoyed I spent several hours trying to win at 13 seconds to put his name back in so that I could have the thrill of beating him. I did actually finally get 13 seconds. I put his name in and it was several months before I actually beat that time. lol...I know...I'm ridiculous.
Glad you finally won. I've played that game but never one either.
You do know that the numbers tell you how many mines are in the proximity right? Just checkin...
Minesweeper is alright but Simon... Now there's a game for me. I believe my highest score was 39 steps through a musical sequence. I'm not sure, may have been more.
If you really want to cheat at minesweeper, there is a system file that you can modify to change your score manually. MWAHAHA!
GT
nice... hope college is being good to you ;-)
I'm glad your learning to be so strategic, but don't let this game keep you from getting out and politicing. Take the stradigies you've learned and apply them to campus now! You go girl.
It was great to have you home this weekend.
